I can't remember if I've mentioned that my Dad and Karen moved to Hickory last September. It's so nice to have them close. I'll certainly take an hour and a half drive over 7 hours (if you're lucky and without children and not traveling at Thanksgiving) any day! Last Saturday we were able to take a day trip over to their place and hang out for the day. It was nice. I really enjoyed seeing them and I'm so thankful that my kids can see their grandparents more frequently! Here are some pics from the day.
